Imvubu Lodge - Richards Bay

I really enjoyed this hotel and had 4 lovely days here. the superior chalet I booked was fully-equipped and complete with Netflix and an electric kettle. - the in-house restaurant inside the bar was top-notch.

Being refused breakfast, after it was clearly stated that it was included in the rate.

Well-equipped rooms with a bathtub 🛁, and the staff here are awesome - super efficient and friendly!

Service at reception could be improved, they did not know that we were coming and forgot to give us the access card for the beach.

It has absolutely excellent staff and excellent facilities. The location is beautiful and fantastic, 1 mile from Zululand Multi Sport Club.

The lounge area and kitchen in the room were great. the bed was extremely comfy. - the location was good and magnificent, not too far from Alkantstrand Beach. - It is situated in a really relaxing area close to nature, away from city sounds and surrounded by entertainment venues.

For the first time in my travels, I did not miss my pillow

I had a great stay at Imvubu Lodge in Richards Bay. the staff were extremely attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, being close to Alkantstrand Beach. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed in the room. the overall experience was delightful.

I had a comfortable stay here for an overnight business trip with great weather in a convenient central location, close to various attractions.

Peacefull and quiet. Staff very friendly. Area feels safe and is tidy. Realy enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family. Will come and stay again.

Breakfast price a bit on the high side but was enjoyable. Access gate coming from sea back onto property, I cut my arm on the notice plate in order to place access card on inside of gate to open gate. The plate is bent, and the space is tiny. Access point could be installed at a better point on outside for safe access. Could recommend a designated area for carwash facility.

Protea Hotel Imvubu Lodge has the friendliest and caring staff. The atmosphere there is so much different from all other lodges. The rooms were clean and up to standard. Meals provided were very compensating. Protea keep up your standard. Thank you for a great weekend.

The privacy of having your own chalet, friendly staff, grounds well maintained, good restaurant, easy access to excursions into nature (Umfulozi game reserve where we saw white rhinos, airial boardwalk in Dlinza forrest, Raphia palm forrest, etc)
